For the fifth edition of the African Business Day, ASAH is out to celebrate all the African Power at the prestigious Hilton Hotel, Rotterdam; with five top multinationals giving workshops, five incredibly talented speakers, our first ever Gala Night, and last but not least A GOLDEN TICKET to an African destination of your choice!
What does the day look like?
The ABD is set up to ensure you get the most out of this excellent opportunity. The day will begin with several workshops with several international companies, which participants can sign up for beforehand.

Director Coca Cola Africa
Kelvin Balogun is President of The Coca-Cola Company’s South and East Africa business unit. From 2013 to 2016, Balogun was President of Coca-Cola Central, East and West Africa where he led a team covering 30 countries in East Africa, West Africa and the Horn of Africa. After beginning his career with Accenture, Balogun joined The Coca-Cola Company in October 1999 as a Strategic Planning and Business Development Manager for Coca-Cola Nigeria. From there, he moved to positions of increasing responsibility in Kenya, Tanzania and other nations before becoming Strategy Director for Coca-ColaEast and Central Africa, overseeing strategy development across 27 markets.
Co-founder and President of Ovamba Solutions
Viola Llewellyn is the co-founder and President of Ovamba Solutions, Inc. Ovamba is an award winning African “TradeTech” company that creates culturally attuned technologies to serve formal and informal African SMEs in the trade & commodities sectors.
Ms. Llewellyn’s past career includes building a $500MM life insurance investment fund for a Washington, DC based insurance investment firm where she led investor communications, and asset management divisions. She has held positions with companies such as Unisys Corporation, IBM, KPMG Consulting, BearingPoint and Rothschild’s.
Ms. Llewellyn was listed in the “Digital Undivided Report” as one of only 34* Black women in the USA to have raised more than $1 million for a technology company.
GM Sony Music West Africa
Michael is currently the pioneer General Manager for Sony Music Entertainment West Africa, one of the largest record labels in the world. With Sony Music Michael represents a catalogue of over 5 million records from some of the world’s greatest local and international talents ranging from Afropop superstars such as Wizkid and Davido to global talents such as Beyonce, Michael Jackson, Travis Scott, Future and many more. Prior to that Michael was and still is an investor in Freeme Digital Ltd. Freeme Digital is the premier 3rd party digital distribution company in Nigeria with a growing array of artists, comedians and content owners from across the region using the content production, marketing and distribution services of the platform.
Expansion & Growth Strategy, Uber Eats EMEA
Amber Clifford, joined Uber almost 5 years ago as a Marketing Manager in Atlanta, Ga. and relocated to the Amsterdam office in 2016 to work as a launcher for Uber Eats in EMEA. Initially, joining Uber at an early growth stage she was responsible for growing the business locally and specialized in leveraging activations with artists like Outkast, City Hall and more Atlanta staples to drive growth. Since joining Uber Eats in EMEA, she has helped start the business operations in more than 15 countries across Europe, Middle East and Africa. Currently, she works on Uber Eats EMEA Strategy + Planning team where she helps markets think through growth strategies and how to scale.
Global lead African Culture and Music Spotify
Tunde Ogundipe (Global Lead of African Music Culture, Spotify), is a first generation Nigerian-American. Having worked between Los Angeles, New York and Lagos, Nigieria for the past 15 years, Tunde has held digital strategy and content roles at companies which include Apple, WME/IMG (Endeavor), McCann, Sony, Atlantic and Universal Music Group. In all roles, Tunde has focused on using content to educate and generate positive sentiment about African culture while bridging the gap between the African and Western diasporas."
Host of CNN Africa News
Keturah King is first and foremost an avant-garde journalist with a solid track record. She had her first stint with journalism whilst working at Arise News Network as a showbiz and fashion correspondent before moving on to become the host of CNN African Voices and consequently the face of CNN Africa.
She has interviewed Hollywood Stars such as Kevin Hart, David Oyelowo, international celebrities such as Naomi Campbell, Aml Ameen, Akon and notable statesmen President Mohammadu Buhari of Nigeria, former President Thabo Mbeki of South Africa and former President Olusegun Obasanjo of Nigeria as well as numerous influential entrepreneurs across Africa.
Keturah recently hosted the Gala Dinner heralding Canon Central & North Africa’s pivotal launch in Nigeria.

The African Business Day kicks off at 9:30am with 5 interactive workshops; ticket holders are able to choose and register for up to two workshops. This year, workshops will be given by five top multinational companies.
This is an opportunity to not only meet with highly influential businesspeople but also get hands-on experience working on a case study towards a coveted job or internship. Join in for a cocktail after-party at the Hilton Hotel in Rotterdam, where you can mingle with other students and young professionals, as well as the speakers from the conference! The Gala Night will serve as a glamorous but relaxed platform to network, while enjoying a drink and some Afrobeats tunes!
